How do Indian Bhajans come to Switzerland
Some Swiss Sai devotees and musicians dedicate themselves to singing, playing and teaching these Bhajans. For this purpose they have edited books with the transcription from original Indian audio sources of 3 x 108 Bhajans (324 Bhajans) in western music notation.
Why do we sing Bhajans
In 1968 Sathya Sai Baba said: "Sing aloud the glory of God and charge the atmosphere with divine adoration; the clouds will pour the sanctity through rain on the fields; the crops will feed on it and purify and fortify the food; the food will induce divine urges in man. This is the chain of progress. This is the reason why I insist on group singing of the names of the Lord."
The 1982 Brazilian film Amor Estranho Amor (Love Strange Love) is a cult erotic drama directed by Walter Hugo Khouri. It remains one of the most controversial works in Brazilian cinema history, primarily due to its legal battles and the presence of Maria da Graça "Xuxa" Meneghel. Film Summary & Production Release Date: November 1982 (Brazil).
The man, whose name was Marcelo, was a successful businessman in his late 30s. He had it all - wealth, power, and a beautiful family. But as he stood on the beach, he felt suffocated by the emptiness within. He was searching for something more, something that would set his soul on fire.
: The film became infamous and was legally suppressed for many years due to scenes involving Xuxa Meneghel (who later became a famous children's entertainer) and the young protagonist.
– Some university film departments hold copies of “Amor Estranho Amor” for research purposes. Access is usually restricted to on‑site viewing and may require proof of scholarly intent.
Cultural institutions in Brazil have preserved prints for historical study.
