It is worth noting that Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes was ported to the PlayStation 3 in Japan as part of the Sengoku Basara HD Collection . Some modders shifted their focus to this version, hoping it would be easier to manipulate on modern hardware. However, the encryption on PS3 files proved even more difficult, and the HD collection did not yield the breakthroughs fans were hoping for.
