The story begins in 1998, where a "creative" juvenile court judge sentences Beavis and Butt-Head to Space Camp [1, 2]. After mistaking a docking simulator for something else, they end up on a NASA shuttle mission, cause a major accident, and are sucked into a black hole [2, 5]. They reemerge on Earth in 2022, where they must navigate a world of smartphones, gender studies, and the NSA while being hunted by the "Deep State" and their own hyper-intelligent parallel-universe counterparts [1, 2, 9].

The new movie takes the dynamic duo on an intergalactic adventure.
