The game features a "what if" scenario diverging from the Alien Force finale. Instead of being captured by Vilgax, accidentally activates Alien X , allowing him to escape into a dimension between worlds. To prevent a multi-versal threat, he makes a deal with the cosmic beings Bellicus and Serena to take Ben Tennyson's place.
