A loader, in the context of software cracking, acts as a bridge between the operating system and the target application. Unlike a "patch," which permanently modifies the software’s executable files (replacing bytes of code), or a "keygen," which generates a valid serial number, a loader typically works by modifying the software's behavior in the computer's memory (RAM) while it is launching.
