A test point is not a button or a software command. It is a physical hardware feature on the LG K52’s main circuit board. In normal operation, these points are isolated. However, by creating a temporary electrical short between a specific test point and ground (often using tweezers or a wire), you force the phone’s processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon) to skip its normal boot sequence and enter a factory recovery state.
