The year 2021 was a strange, transitional time for the whole world. We were all learning how to be close again after being so far apart. But for me, that year will always be defined by the week my little sister invaded Apartment V205 at HOP. She didn’t just visit my home. She reminded me what a home was supposed to feel like—loud, a little chaotic, and full of the people who know you best. She left the door open on her way out.
