VINYLS.BIN is not a standard Windows binary but a used by the game engine (based on EAGL / RenderWare). nfs underground 2 vinyls bin file 73 install
Navigate to your game's installation directory, then into the Open the folder for the specific car (e.g., CARS\240SX ) and select its VINYLS.BIN Import the New Vinyl Commands (examples) VINYLS
Browse to the specific car folder, for example: C:/Program Files/Need For Speed Underground 2/CARS/[CAR_NAME]/VINYLS.BIN . : If it’s 2 MB, it’s a fake
The file should be roughly 15-25 MB. If it’s 2 MB, it’s a fake. The genuine 73.bin is a renamed CARS_VINYLS.BIN or an installer script.
Many vinyl packs, including file 73, require the game to recognize the increased number of vinyl assets. Without this, the game may freeze when opening the vinyl shop.
