Priest itself is a action film – think The Dark Knight meets Underworld with a train chase. The Tamil dubbed version is decent for home viewing , especially if you enjoy dubbed action movies. It doesn’t elevate the film, but it doesn’t ruin it either. Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) – Watch for the action and visuals, not deep storytelling.
In a world ruled by a powerful Church, legendary "Warrior Priests" have been forced into obscurity after winning the last Great Vampire War. When the Priest's niece is kidnapped by a lethal pack of vampires, he breaks his sacred vows to hunt them down. Joined by a local sheriff (the niece’s boyfriend) and a fellow Priestess, he ventures into the desolate "wasteland" outside the Church's walled cities to rescue her before she is turned.
