Epson EcoTank printers like the L3150 use internal porous pads to collect excess ink during cleaning cycles and borderless printing. To prevent ink leaks, the printer is programmed to stop operating once a specific print count is reached. You will know it is time for a reset when:

"I need the to reset the waste ink pad counter. My printer shows 'Service required' or flashing indicators. I have already performed a physical pad reset/cleaning. Please provide a safe, working version of the program (usually called AdjProg or Resetter ) and steps for the L3150."

The power and paper lights flashing simultaneously or alternately on the printer's front panel.

Inside your Epson L3150 is a set of absorbent pads known as (or waste ink pads). During printing and head cleaning cycles, the printer flushes ink through the nozzles to prevent clogging. This waste ink has to go somewhere—it drips down into these pads.
