1) Before you start
System requirements (minimum recommended):
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
CPU: Quad-core 2.5+ GHz
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: GTX 960 / RX 470 or better
Disk: 25+ GB free
Drivers: Update GPU drivers to latest stable release
Files you need:
The RG Mechanics repack archive(s)
Latest repack installer (setup executable)
Any included .bin/.iso pieces or compressed data files from the release
Optional: crack/patch files included by the repack
Tools (recommended):
7-Zip or WinRAR (for extracting)
Mounting tool (e.g., Virtual CloneDrive) if ISO is provided
Hash checker (to verify integrity)

2) Preparation
Right-click the repack archive → Properties → Unblock if present.
Extract to a dedicated folder with enough free space using 7-Zip/WinRAR.
Verify file integrity if SFV/MD5/MD5SUM provided. If files are corrupted, re-download missing parts.

Open the extracted folder and run the installer (often named setup.exe or similar).
Choose installation language if prompted.
Select the installation directory — prefer a simple path (e.g., C:\Games\RE4Ultimate) to avoid long path issues.
Choose components:
Full game data (mandatory)
Optional language packs / cutscene languages
Optional high-res texture packs (if included)
Skip any bundled toolbars or unrelated extras
