The term "FilmyZilla top" is used by search engine optimizers (black-hat SEO) to rank for "top downloads" or "top movies" on that platform.
Under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and the IT Act, 2000, downloading or streaming copyrighted content from unauthorized sources like Filmyzilla is illegal. While authorities currently focus on site blocking (DoT blocks hundreds of pirate domains), users can still face fines or legal notices.
