Chuck, Teddy's partner, began to question his own sanity, and the two men started to suspect that they were in grave danger. They discovered a series of cryptic clues that led them to believe that the hospital was involved in a sinister plot to experiment on the patients.

Teddy eventually makes his way to the lighthouse, believing it to be the center of the surgical experiments. Instead, he finds Dr. Cawley waiting for him.
