Veronica Moser: Talent Test Upd

The Veronica Moser Talent Test (VMTT) has been a widely used instrument for identifying domain-specific talents in children aged 6–14 since its last major revision in 2016. This paper provides a comprehensive update on the VMTT, incorporating new normative data from a stratified sample of 4,200 students across seven regions (2022–2024). We report updated internal consistency (α = 0.89–0.94), test-retest reliability (r = 0.86), and confirmatory factor analysis supporting a four-factor structure (verbal, mathematical-spatial, creative, social-executive). New validity evidence includes convergent correlations with the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (r = 0.71) and the WISC-V Fluid Reasoning index (r = 0.68). We also introduce a revised scoring algorithm reducing gender and socioeconomic bias. Practical guidelines for interpretation and digital administration are provided.
