Be aware: v1.0 does not include the later “Journal of a Fallen Angel” expansion, which added 5 hours of epilogue story. It is a pure, raw, and sometimes broken experience—but for many, that’s the charm.

The game uses a storybook aesthetic with watercolor backgrounds and 3D cel-shaded characters. Enemies are inspired by Numazu marine life (e.g., phantom eels, shelled golems). The v1.0 build’s lighting was darker than later patches—intentionally moodier, but many players complained fights were hard to read.
